Kadee (2 of 2)

A comprehensive range of Kadee automatic knuckle couplers for G-Scale. Manufactured to a scale size, and operating at the prototypical height, they are the only type to uncouple magnetically and to allow remote uncoupling. They may be fitted very easily to LGB bogies or to the buffer beam. Several types are available for different rolling stock.

The Magne-Matic® Coupling System

The Magne-Matic® coupling system uses a single uncoupler to spot cars. The entire operation is automatic, with no moving parts touching the coupler and no danger of derailment.

(1)     By pushing and stopping couplers over uncoupler, slack is created between them.

(2)     Withdraw the train and the couplers will uncouple.

(3)     Re-enter the train over uncoupler; offset couplers will not recouple so uncoupled cars can be pushed to any point beyond the uncoupler and parked.

(4)     Withdraw the train and leave uncoupled cars behind. Couplers will return to normal coupling position.

Flex Bracket

The Flex-Bracket allows our No.830 body mounted G-Scale coupler to negotiate a smaller radius track layout. The No.838 coupler packet includes 1 pair of Flex-Brackets, with our No.830 couplers and draft gear boxes.
