Lower Quadrant Signals - Wooden Post

These kits are a simple and inexpensive way of building signals for a garden railway. They consist of a tapered wooden post with whitemetal castings, brass wire and plastic coloured lenses for the spectacles. A whitemetal ladder is included but, if desired a brass etched ladder is available as an optional extra. The lamp can be fitted with working lights if required. A bracket to form a junction signal is available which can be used in conjunction with the basic signal kits to form a number of different designs of bracket signal. Alternatively a bracket kit is available.

Based on LGB 50300 manual signal. This signal system allows for the easy replacement of the German signal arm with a typical British one, manufactured in brass. The latter is supplied on a brass fret consisting of three arms and three cranks. If a bracket signal is purchased, a bracket signal can be made up quite easily. By simple cutting and splicing of the latticework, various types of bracket signal can be made. The platform is made out of plastic sheet, scribed to represent planking, and the brass stanchions added as guard rails.

Working Locomotive Lamps

Head or tail lamps manufactured in cast brass, completely self-contained, requiring no external power supply. The locomotive lamp body is painted in white enamel and holds LED, batteries and a switch fitted in the lamp-top vent. lamps FG240are supplied complete with batteries.

Water Tower with Fire Stove

A composite kit containing a plastic and resin water tank with brass wrapper containing full rivet detail; a turned wooden column and a selection of castings and tube to form the water crane and other details. A brass ladder and drain cover complete the kit. Two types of water tower are available.

GWR Water Crane

A composite kit consisting of a plastic column with a resin swivel joint and preformed aluminium arm. These are mounted on a plastic base with a metal water standard and a firedevil. Various other parts are supplied to make a very detailed model.
