Freelance British Outline Lehmann Conversion Kits

 

Combo Kit Version No.1

A freestyle narrow gauge conversion, based upon the Lehmann 4-plank Open Wagon and the GRS Outside Framed Box Van. The kit consists of an outside framed GRS Box Van Body Kit with optional sliding doors. The model is made up of injection moulded end parts, plastic floor and scribed plastic sides. A pre-formed plastic roof with roof fixing pieces SG1017-18completes the box structure. Various strapping parts can now be fixed on the outside together with door runners and sliding doors. The body can now be fixed to the two Lehmann chassis halves to complete the van. LGB plastic spoked wheels and couplings are included. The Lehmann 4-plank open wagon body is mounted on the two smaller halves of Lehmann chassis units to make the complete wagon. LGB plastic wheels and couplings are included. A freestyle narrow gauge conversion, based upon the Lehmann 5-plank Open Wagon and the GRS Cattle Van. The van kit consists of an outside framed GRS Cattle Van Body Kit. The van is made up of injection moulded end parts, plastic floor and scribed plastic sides. A pre-formed plastic roof with roof fixing pieces completes the box structure. Various SG1020-21strapping parts can now be fixed on the outside. The body can now be fixed to the two Lehmann chassis halves to complete the cattle van. LGB plastic spoked wheels and couplings are included. The Lehmann 5-plank open wagon body is mounted on the two smaller halves of Lehmann chassis units to make a complete wagon. The tarpaulin rail supports are now fitted on the ends to take the rail. LGB plastic wheels and couplings are included. Dimensions as per SG1017.

Guards Van Conversion Kit

Based upon the Lehmann Van with veranda, this attractive Narrow Gauge Guards Van is produced from the standard Lehmann vertically planked box van with brake platform. This van has sliding doors and a fully detailed brake platform and is ideal for converting into a British outline guards van of typical narrow gauge design. The conversion kit supplies all SG1015the plastic parts necessary to produce the usual closed-in veranda with vertical planking. A pair of vacuum formed guards duckets are included for fixing on the end of the van sides over the two small windows. Other detailing parts include gas lamp top, roof ventilator, steps for the plane end of the van with wire for grab rails and a complete set of lamp irons. Working GRS Tail Lamps (available separately) can be fixed on the brackets. Lettering can be obtained from the L&B freight rolling stock transfer sheet. Length 200mm, Width 108mm, Height 158mm. Double Ended Guards Van Conversion Kit

Based upon the Lehmann Caboose, this attractive Narrow Gauge Double Ended Guards Van is produced from the standard Lehmann US outline caboose vehicle, and is ideal for converting into a British outline guards van of typical narrow gauge design. The conversion kit supplies all the plastic parts necessary to produce the usual closed-in verandas with vertical planking. Two end balcony units and a roof are included along with a pair of vacuum formed guards duckets for fixing on the van sides over the two small windows. Other detailing parts include gas lamp top, roof ventilator, steps for the plane end of the van with wire for grab rails and a complete set of lamp irons.
