L&B Bogie Open Wagon with Tarpaulin Rail
The horizontal planking of the prototype has been
faithfully captured on the model by means of scribed plastic sheet for the ends
and sides, which form a rigid box structure. The floor and solebar section are vacuum formed plastic. External details are added in the form of
injection moulded parts with wire for the tarpaulin rail. The Kit version is
supplied as a body kit without bogies or wheels. These are available separately
for either 45mm or 32mm gauges (see General Parts section). Plastic bogies are
also available from MDC or LGB (see relevant lists). The RTR versions come complete
with bogies for either gauge and are finished in chocolate brown with black
strapping. Transfers are available separately. Length 440mm, Width 100mm.

This wagon is supplied as a complete kit. The chassis comprises a whitemetal underframe unit with full brake gear, vacuum cylinder and vacuum pipes. The body, which has full rivet detail, is made out of scribed plastic sheet with injection moulded parts for strapping and corner plates. Wire is included for the tarpaulin rail. The wagon can be supplied for either 45mm or 32mm gauges. Couplings are left to choice. Freight transfers are available separately. Length 165mm, Width 95mm, Height 90mm. L&B Bogie Flat Wagon Kit with Stanchions
This flat wagon is manufactured in plastic with imitation planking and moveable stakes. Wire and split pins are supplied for the trussing. Bogies and wheelsets are not included in the kits but are available for both 45mm or 32mm gauges. Length 410mm, Width 100mm, Height 90mm.
