Locomotive Detailed Paint & Lining Service

GRS offers a lining service for your Live Steam or Electric Locomotives. The lining can be single, double or triple and is carried out using a bow pen and enamel paints. As an example of cost for this service, a 3-colour lining (simplified) for the Campbeltown and Machrihanish or Leek and Manifold locomotive would be about £75.00. The finished product is painted to a very fine standard and adds an impressive look to your locomotive. Full details are available upon application

Locomotive Carrying Cases

Manufactured in fibreboard with reinforced corners. The top and bottom are strengthened with plywood. The interior is lined throughout with foam. Hasp type catches, which will accept a padlock, are fitted to the front of the case.

NG101 Large size, 26” x 10”, with handles on end

NG102 Large size, 34” x 5.5”, with handle on top

Water Filler Systems

Consists of brass filler cap with non-return valve and trigger action filling bottle. Allows continuous running by refilling whilst in steam. Earlier versions of Roundhouse locos may take different versions of the filler system due to manufacturer changes.
